3 Setting the Processing ParametersN

Filter effects

The same effect as using filters with black-and-white film can be
obtained with digital images. A color can be brightened by using a filter
having a similar or same color. At the same time, the complementary
colors will be darkened.

Setting the [Contrast] to the plus side will make the filter effect more
pronounced.
Toning Effect
When color toning is set, color toning will be applied to the captured
black-and-white image before being recorded to the CF card. It can
make the image look more impressive.

Normal black-and-white image with
N: None
no filter effects.
The blue sky will look more natural,
Ye: Yellow
and the white clouds will look
clearer.
The blue sky will look slightly
Or: Orange
darker. The sunset will look more
brilliant.
The blue sky will look quite dark.
R: Red
Fall leaves will look crisper and
brighter.
Skin tones and lips will look fine.
G: Green
Tree leaves will look crisper and
brighter.
The following can be selected:
[N:None] [S:Sepia] [B:Blue] [P:Purple]
[G:Green]
