4 Cleaning and maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
• Prior to cleaning, unplug the appliance and ensure that
the blades are completely stopped.
• Never use gasoline, solvent, abrasive cleaners, metal
objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
• Exercise caution when cleaning the chopper blade (6);
it is sharp.
• Do not submerge the motor unit or the power cord in
water or any other type of liquid.
The glass bowl, chopper blade and spacer lid can be washed on
the upper rack of the dish washer.

Unplug the appliance. Re-
move the motor unit (4),
spacer lid (3) and then the
blades (6).

Use a slightly damp cloth to
clean the outside of the mo-
tor unit (4).
You can wash the glass
bowl, chopper blade and the
spacer lid with detergent and
warm water.
After cleaning, thoroughly
dry all parts of the appliance.
