Tips
• You can switch to speakerphone during conversation by pressing (SPEAKERPHONE). You can
put the handset in the cradle.
To switch back to the handset, pick up the handset again.
• If you have subscribed to the Caller ID service;
- the caller's number and/or name appears on the display when you receive a call (see page
14)
- the ringer sound changes to a higher tone if the call matches the number stored on one-
touch or speed dialing buttons (memory match function; see page 14).

Redialing

Pick up the handset (or press (SPEAKERPHONE)).
"=== TALK ===" appears on the display.

Press (REDIAL/PAUSE).
The last dialed number appears on the display and is automatically
dialed.
Note
If the number exceeds 32 digits, five short error beeps will alert you that the number can't be
dialed.
To check the last phone number dialed
While the phone is not in use, press (REDIAL/PAUSE) .
The number appears on the display for 20 seconds.
Note
The number will not be displayed if the last dialed number exceeds 32 digits or if it is erased.
To erase the last phone number dialed
While the phone is not in use, press (REDIAL/PAUSE) twice.
The number will be erased from the memory, and you 'll hear a confirmation beep.

Putting a call on hold

Press (HOLD).
"=== HOLD ===" appears on the display. You can place the handset back
in the cradle.

To resume conversation, pick up the handset (or press
(SPEAKERPHONE)).
If you didn't place the handset back in the cradle, press (HOLD) or
(SPEAKERPHONE).
Tip
If you pick up another phone connected to the same phone line, the hold will be automatically
released and you will be able to resume conversation on that phone.
