    ESD PRECAUTIONS Electrostatically Sensitive Devices (ESD) Some semiconductor (solid state) devices can be damaged easily by static electricity. Such components commonly are called Electrostatically Sensitive Devices (ESD). Examples of typical ESD devices are integrated circuits and some field-effect transistors and semiconductor chip components. The following techniques should be used to help reduce the incidence of component damage caused by static electricity.

    (It can’t select update fi le. But, it has an update priority. An update priority is as follows. <DSP, IO MICOM, EQ Bin>) Step 2 : Updating the speaker bar(LAP340/341) If you copy a update fi le to an USB memory, you can update.

    SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD 1. CONNECTION OF THE JIG 1) Insert the jig cable in CN903. 2) After inserting the jig cable to CN903. Note) Be careful of the direction of cable when insert the jig cable in CN903 of display jig.

  • Page 8 4-1) Insert the power cord at the back of the main set. 4-2) Power on the sound plate and you can see massage of the display jig. If display jig does not display anything, please check the connection of display jig and cable and main set again.

    2. SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD 2-1. Micom Download 1) Insert the USB memory in display jig. * Micom fi le must be inside of USB memory. 2) Push continuallythe “-” button at the back side of main set and push continually the “7” button of bar remote control until “USB”...
  • Page 10 3) After “USB” display, “SER” will be display. 4) “MICO” display during update. It will take less then 5 minute. 5) After update, display jig and main set will be power off.

How to troubleshoot (Countermeasure) Case 1) 20 VA Voltage Abnormal: Check D951/ D952 and replace it. Case 2) 20 VA Voltage Abnormal: Check IC901/ Q901 and replace it.
