Setup and troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues - moto g
Follow these steps to set up and troubleshoot Wi-Fi wireless Internet access.
Turn Wi-Fi power on or off
Touch
> Settings, then touch the Wi-Fi power switch to turn it On or Off
Wi-Fi search & connect
When Wi-Fi is on, the Wi-Fi in range indicator
available. Drag down the status bar and touch the Wi-Fi networks available notification to
select and connect to a network.
To search for a network when Wi-Fi is off:
Touch
> Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi switch on, touch Wi-Fi to see
available nearby networks.
Touch the Wi-Fi power switch to turn it On and scan. Your phone lists the networks it finds
within range.
Touch a network to connect. If necessary, enter Network SSID, Security, and Password, and
touch Connect
When your phone is connected, you'll see

appears in the status bar.
Tips:
To connect to a Hidden network: Touch
> Add Network > Enter the network details > Scroll down to Hidden Network, and
change to Yes.
