Disconnecting
CAUTION
Do not connect or disconnect the port replicator while the computer is powered on or
in the standby or hibernation mode.

Turn off the computer.

While holding the latch to the right side,

slide the lever all the way back

Close the cover of the expansion bus connector of the
computer.

Attach the protective cap to the expansion bus connector
of the port replicator.
