The DN611 employs plug connectors (open type), and are provided with two types of
network connectors as shown in Figure 3-4. The order of connecting the DeviceNet
cables to the DN611 is as follows:
(1) Connect the DeviceNet cables to the network connector and fix them.
(2) Insert the network connector into the device connector on the front panel of the
DN611.
The connector shown at left in the figure below consists of two rows of holes, upper and
lower, for cables to be inserted in so that the DN611 may be connected in the process of
network daisy chain connection.
The connector shown at right in the figure consists of a single row of holes for cables to
be inserted in so that the DN611 may be connected at the network end. Select either of
these two types depending on where you wish to connect the DN611 on the network.
