4.4.5 Setting the UPS5000-E Device Address

Prerequisites


Procedure
Step 1 Tap Settings on the UPS5000-E home screen.
Step 2 Enter the administrator user name and password and tap
Step 3 Tap Communication.
Step 4 Set RS485 address and RS485 baud rate.

The DataBit, StopBit, and Parity for the UPS5000-E cannot be set on the WebUI. Their
default values are 8, 1, and None respectively.

You have obtained the device address assigned to the UPS5000-E.
The UPS5000-E has been powered on.
The preset user name and password for the UPS5000-E are respectively Admin and 000001. To ensure
access security, change the password upon first use.
Setting
Indicates the device address assigned to the UPS5000-E. The
addresses of devices connected to a same port must be unique.
When creating a UPS5000-E on the ECC500 WebUI, enter this
value in Equipment Address.
Retain the default value 9600.
