Installing a PI
Install an input power cable on the PI.

Connect the DC power connector to
the DC power ports.

Install a wire clip over the

shield layer of the DC power
cable.
CAUTION
Before installing a DC input power cable, identify the positive and negative ends of the
cable. Ensure that the cable is connected correctly. Install a circuit breaker at the negative
end of the external power supply device to prevent circuit loops from damaging the power
cable and PI.

CAUTION
Avoid dropping any metal scraps or other miscellaneous
objects on the front panel or in any ports of the PI.
Install an output power cable on the PI.
