If you have subscribed to Caller Line Identification, the event LED also blinks when there is a new call or a new voice mail message.

    Getting started Position the base Place the base within reach of the telephone line and electricity sockets. The position in which you place the base can have an effect on the range and performance of your product. Avoid placing the base too close to large metal objects such as filing cabinets, radiators or electrical appliances.

    Install and charge the handset batteries Warning • The handset must be charged for at least 24 hours before using it for the first time. • Never use any battery type other than the one supplied. There is a risk of explosion if the batteries are replaced by an incorrect type.
