User´s Guide Power Rail Booster
Supply the PRB only with safety extra-Iow voltage to IEC 60634-4-41
"Generation as Functional Extra-Iow Voltage with Safe Electrical lsolation", DC
20, 4-28.8 V DC (+24 V typical).
The PRB must be operated with a grounded incoming supply. The reference
potential (ground) of the 24 V DC supply voltage must be connected to PE.
Be sure there is sufficient tensile load and observe the cable's minimum
bending radii.

Connecting the signalling contacts

An electronic semi-conductor relay with potential-free contacts is provided for
signalling faults or the failure of the operating voltage. The signalling contact can be
connected to a controller's digital I/0 via the 15-pin terminal block on the front of the
PRB.
Be sure there is a sufficient tensile load and observe the cable's minimum
bending radii.
