CAUTION! Only use utensils
made from wood or heat-resistant
plastic. Utensils made from metal
could damage the coated surfaces.
If you like, you can break off the
excess pieces at the edges so that
the waffles look better.
Decorate the waffles however you
want, i. e. with chocolate sauce,
cream, vanilla ice-cream, strawber-
ries, raspberries, cherries, icing
sugar.
Remove the mains plug from the
mains power socket after use. This
is the only way of ensuring that
the appliance is completely discon-
nected from the power source.

Cleaning and storage

To avoid the danger of electric shock
or burns:
Remove the mains plug from the
mains power socket before clean-
ing each time.
Never immerse the appliance in
water and protect it from spray
and dripping water.
Allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning to prevent any
danger of burns.
CAUTION! Never use abrasive,
corrosive or harsh cleaning agents.
The appliance, as well as its non-
stick coating, could become dam-
aged in this way.
Note: Do not wait too long before cleaning
the appliance so that the bits of batter do not
dry onto it and therefore become difficult to
remove.
Remove crumbs and bits of batter.
Wipe the inside and the outside of the appli-
ance with a soft, damp cloth. You can use a
relatively mild detergent, however it must then
be wiped again with clean water so that the
waffles do not have a strange aftertaste.
Wipe with a dry cloth.
To stow away the appliance, wind up the mains
cable on the cable reel
– wind the mains cable around the cable reel;
– secure the end of the mains cable by push-
ing it into the cable clip
(on the underside):
