Operating the Instrument

Check The battery is properly inserted and fully charged (P. 22-25).

Turn on the hearing instrument to make sure that the volume is low and then turn it off
(P. 30-31).

Turn on the hearing instrument
Slide the Standby/HOLD switch in the direction
of the arrow.
Do the same operation to turn off the hearing
instrument.
• The LCD display will light for five seconds and
the mode indicator will be displayed.
• The LED lamp will flash every five seconds.
Tips
Slide the switch to HOLD to prevent unintentional
operation. If the control dial is rotated and pressed
while the hearing instrument is in HOLD mode, the
LED lamp will flash for three seconds (twice per
second).

Adjust the volume
Adjust the volume by rotating the control dial to
the desired level.
• The volume levels are from 1 to 17 (5 is set
as default).
