Color sensor test

Depending on the lighting condition of AIBO's environment, it may not sense
the color correctly. Use this procedure to check that AIBO senses the supplied
color cards correctly.

While AIBO is in category choice standby
posture (page 14), keep pressing its chin and
back at the same time for three seconds.

Hold each supplied color card straight up
against the floor and take it about a half foot
(15 cm) in front of AIBO's face (color
camera).
If AIBO senses the color correctly, its eye lights light
up as illustrated on the right.

When you finish testing, press AIBO on the chin.
AIBO returns to category choice standby posture.

For accurate sensing of colors, a bright and incandescent light is preferable.
