Possible Cause
A battery string
experiences charge
overcurrent.
The battery charge
voltage or number of
batteries is incorrectly
set.
The battery internal
resistance exceeds the
upper threshold.
9 Maintenance
Solution
1. Check that the charge
current settings (battery
specifications and charge
current limit) on the UPS
meet the battery charge
requirements.
2. Check that new and old
batteries are not
connected in parallel in
each battery string. Mark
abnormal battery strings.
1. Check that the battery
charge voltage and
number of batteries are
correctly set on the UPS.
2. Check that new and old
batteries do not coexist in
the same battery string.
Mark abnormal batteries.
3. Compare the charge
voltage of the abnormal
battery and that of the
normal battery. Mark
abnormal batteries.
4. Compare the internal
resistance of the
abnormal battery and that
of the normal battery.
Mark abnormal batteries.
5. Fully charge the battery
string and prepare the
UPS backup power
supply. Then perform a
capacity test to query the
SOH of the battery. If the
SOH is abnormal, replace
the abnormal battery.
