Altos T350 F2 FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
For connection mode:
Concurrent (Default): All of onboard LAN port 1, onboard LAN port 2 and optional dedicated
server management port can be used for Smart Console with different IP address. All
NIC ports must be on different subnet.
Failover: All of onboard LAN port 1, onboard LAN port 2 and optional dedicated server
management port are bonded together. The setting of onboard LAN port 1 will be used
for bonding. If a connection fails, Smart Console connection will switch to the others.
Failover mode can be enabled in Smart Console.
10. Is there any cable that I should connect with Smart Console?
ANSWER: No, the Smart Console is integrated in main-board.
11. Does Smart Console support BBU (Battery Backup Unit) or external power adapter?
ANSWER: No, Smart Console still can operate with standby power (when server is power-off
but power cord is still plugged).
12. What web browser is supported with Smart Console?
ANSWER:
Internet Explorer 9.0
Internet Explorer 8.0
Internet Explorer 7.0
Internet Explorer 6.0 (with SP1)
13. Is the JRE required to access Smart Console?
ANSWER: You can access Smart Console just with the web browser.
But, if you want to perform KVM over IP feature of Smart Console, the JRE is required.
14. What version of JRE is required to access Smart Console KVM over IP?
ANSWER: The JRE 6.0 (or later) is required or latest.
