9. Light Kit Assembly.

Remove 1 screw from motor plate (on
underside of motor) and loosen the other 2
screws. Align slotted holes in light kit fitter with
loosened screws in motor plate, allowing molex
connections from the motor assembly to come
through hole in middle of light kit fitter. Twist
light kit fitter to lock. Re-insert screw that was
previously removed and securely tighten all 3
screws with a Phillips screwdriver. [Refer to
diagram 1.]
Connect WHITE wire from light kit fitter to
WHITE wire from motor assembly. Connect
BLACK wire from the light kit fitter to BLACK
(or BLUE) wire from the motor assembly. Be sure
that the molex connections snap together
securely.
Remove 1 screw from light kit fitter and loosen
the other 2 screws. Align slotted holes in
threaded rod assembly with loosened screws in
light kit fitter. Twist threaded rod assembly to
lock. Re-insert screw that was previously
removed and securely tighten all 3 screws with
a Phillips screwdriver. [Refer to diagram 2.]
IMPORTANT: Be careful when attaching
threaded rod assembly that the wiring does not
get pinched or caught under the metal edges.
Allow wires to come through corresponding
openings in plate on threaded rod assembly.
Install 2 candelabra base 60 watt max. bulbs
(included).
Important: When replacing bulb(s), please
allow bulb(s) and shade to cool down before
touching them.
Remove finial and finial plate from threaded rod
assembly. Align hole in center of glass shade
with threaded rod on threaded rod assembly
and push up gently until threaded rod comes
through hole.
Align hole of glass shade support with threaded
rod and push up gently until threaded rod
comes through hole.
Secure glass shade and glass shade support
with finial plate and finial previously removed.
