Adjustment :
l.
Connect a frequency counter to pin 7 (CFG) of IC516.
2. Turn on the power switch, insert blank taæ TY-308
(for 1.5 times normal speed), and put the set into the
PLAY ( ))
mode.
3. Adjust RV507 so that the frequency counter reading is
l0ll
! 2Hz
Note: When the recognition hole of blank tape TY-30B
is opened, the set is put into the 1.5 times normal
speed mode. When the hole is blocked using an
adhesive tape, the mode is changed from 1.5 times
normal speed to normal speed.

Procedure :
1. Connect a frequency counter to pin 7 (CFG) of IC516.

1. Connect an oscilloscope to pin 3 (PCOT) of IC518.

Put the set into the TEST mode.

Turn on the power switch, insert blank tape TY-308,
and put the set into the PLAY PAUSE ( >
