Interface (SDDI), and interface between BKSI-2010 and disk drives is SCSI. BKSI-2010 can process one channel signal for input, and two channel signals for output through the SDDI. When BKSI-2011 is mounted on BKSI-2010, the BKSI-2010 can process four channel signals for output.

In this mode, Ciprico AR6712, MAV-S100, or MAV-S110 can be connected to the BKSI-2010. MAV-S110 and MAV-S110 can be combined but Ciprico and MAV Series cannot be combined. This mode is not used in STAS-10 (Sony Transmission Automation System). After changing the connection of the arrays, perform this setup.

Take care of the direction of bracket at installation. If the BKSI-2010 cannot process expanded channel signals even though the BKSI-2011 is installed, make sure that the PTTWH3X6 connectors are properly connected. For the more details of the confirmation, refer to the Maintenance Manual.

5. ISR 5-1. Overview The BKSI-2010 corresponds to an ISR (Interactive Status Reporting) function. Using this function, the status of the BKSI-2010 or the contents of a generated error can be intensively monitored and managed on the monitor screen of a personal computer. The data displayed on the monitor screen can be stored or printed as a file.
