sweet substances on the
soother?
What can I do when some
parts of the thermometers
are broken (e.g. the flexible
tip)?
The thermometers do not
work. What is wrong?
Can I sterilise the
thermometers?
The display does not show
anything. What is the cause?
Answer
Never dip the teat in sweet substances or medication. Your
child may get tooth decay if you do.
Do not use the thermometers if any part of them is
cracked. If the thermometers are damaged or broken, they
have to be discarded.
The batteries of the thermometers may be empty. For
instructions on how to replace the battery of the flexible-
tip thermometer, see chapter 'Replacing the battery'. The
battery of the soother thermometer cannot be replaced.
When this battery is empty, the soother thermometer
must be discarded.
Check if the measurement unit of the soother
thermometer is firmly attached to the soother and
completely locked into position, i.e. turned all the way to
the 'closed lock' symbol.
You cannot sterilise the flexible-tip thermometer. You can
only boil or sterilise the soother and the protection cap of
the soother thermometer. Make sure you remove the
measurement unit before boiling or sterilising. For
instructions on how to clean the thermometers, see
chapter 'Cleaning'.

tip thermometer, see chapter 'Replacing the battery'. The

Perhaps the battery of the flexible-tip thermometer makes
poor contact. Clean the battery and the contact surface
with a cotton swab. Please note that the measurement unit
of the soother thermometer cannot be opened.
Perhaps you inserted the battery of the flexible-tip
thermometer in the wrong way. Make sure the + pole is
facing upwards. For instructions on how to place the
battery, see chapter 'Replacing the battery'.
