What You Can Do with
Waterproofness of KF1919
• You can talk without an umbrella in the rain
(for rainfall of 20 mm or less per hour).
• You can wash this cell phone shaking gently
in fresh and room-temperature tap-water (5℃
to 35℃ ) in wash-basin.
- W i t h h o l d i n g t h e s l o t c a p n o t t o o p e n ,
wash this cell phone with tap water without
rubbing hard.
- Do not use brush, sponge, soap, detergent,
etc. for washing.
- After washing away, wipe the surface of
this cell phone with a dry cloth and then
remove remaining water. → P37
• You can use it at a poolside. However, do not
pour the pool water over this cell phone or
soak it in the pool water.

Before Using
To maintain the waterproofness/
dustproofness, be sure to observe the
following points.
• Make sure to firmly close the slot cap. Even
a fine obstacle (one hair, one grain of sand,
tiny fiber, etc.) which is put between contact
surfaces may allow water or dust to enter.
• Do not poke the earpiece (receiver)/sub
microphone or mouthpiece (microphone), vent
hole, speaker, earphone/microphone jack,
external connection terminal, or slot cap with
a sharp object.
• Do not let this cell phone fall. It may scratch
this cell phone, causing its waterproof/
dustproof performance to degrade.
• Rubber seal in the slot cap plays an important
part in waterproof/dustproof property. Do not
damage or remove the rubber seals. Also,
prevent dust from adhering to them.
