    Electric appliances can cause fire or high temperature, resulting in injury or death. Be sure to follow the instructions below. Use a Sony XL-5000 replacement lamp (not supplied) for replacement. Use of any other lamp may damage the SXRD projection TV.
  • Page 23 Introducing the Sony SXRD Projection TV Turn off the power on the main unit. Wait several minutes, then unplug the power cord. (The cooling fan will continue to operate for about two minutes after turning the power off.) Wait at least 30 minutes after unplugging the power cord to allow the lamp to cool down before replacing it.
  • Page 24 Introducing the Sony SXRD Projection TV Pull out the lamp. Loosen the screw on the lamp cover with a coin or similar object and slide the knob to the left. Put fingers on the right edge of the cover and pull it forward to remove the cover.
