    8. Getting started 8.1. Inserting the battery in the remote control  As delivered, the battery is already inserted in the remote control. To activate it, pull out the insulating strip on the underside of the remote control. 8.2. Replacing batteries The remote control requires a 3 V coin battery, type CR 2025.

    8.3. Battery operation – inserting the batteries into the device  The battery compartment is located at the rear of the device.  Release both latches and remove the battery compartment cover.  Insert eight 1.5 V R20/LR20/D batteries (not supplied) with the negative ends on the springs.

    9. Connecting the headphones You will find a 3.5 mm headphone socket on the front of the device.  Insert headphones with a 3.5 mm jack plug into the headphone socket. When headphones are connected the speakers are disabled. Volume adjustment is still possible to change the headphone volume.
