Basic still image shooting — Using auto adjustment mode
Holding the camera correctly
When shooting pictures with the camera,
be careful so that your fingers do not
block the lens portion, flash emitter or
microphone. (page 10)

 Hold the camera steadily with

subject in the center of the
focus frame.
• The minimum focal distance to a subject
is approx. 50 cm (19 3/4 inches). To shoot
subjects at distances closer than this, use the
close-ups (Macro) mode (page 35).
• The frame indicated on the LCD screen shows
the focus adjustment range (AF range finder,
page 57).
