Bevel gear/Cutting attachment

Dismantling, input shaft

Remove the saw body from the shaft.
Remove the circlip holding the ball bearing
on the input shaft.

Heat the saw body to 110°C with a hot air
gun.
Knock the saw body against a wooden
block so that the input shaft falls out.

Dismantling, output shaft

Heat the saw body and remove the output
shaft.
Dismantling, input shaft
Remove the saw body from the shaft by
loosening the clamping screw (C) and
remove the centering screw (D) that fi ts in
an opening in the shaft.
Remove the large circlip (E) holding the
ball bearing on the input shaft.
Heat the saw body to 110°C with a hot air
gun.
Knock the saw body against a wooden
block so that the input shaft falls out.
TIP!
Make sure the clamping screw is screwed
out far enough to allow the fl are fi tting to
expand when hot and thereby prevent the
ball bearings from passing through.
Remove the circlip with circlip pliers and
remove both ball bearings using a bearing
puller.
Dismantling, output shaft
Use a hot air gun to warm the saw body
to approx. 110°C and dismantle the ball
bearing using a plastic hammer to prevent
thread damage.
