Important safety instructions

DANGER – risk of electrical shock!
• The voltage of the power source must correspond with the details given on the
type plate of the appliance.
• To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power cables replaced im-
mediately by a qualified specialist technician or our Customer Service depart-
ment.
• Appliances which do not work properly or have been damaged must be chek-
ked immediately and repaired by Customer Service.
• Do not expose the appliance to rain, and never use it in a humid or wet envi-
ronment. Take steps to ensure the power cable never becomes wet or moist du-
ring use.
Never immerse the base of the machine in water or other liquids!
WARNING – Risk of injury!
• Never use the appliance for purposes other than those described in these in-
structions.
• The appliance should always be disconnected from the mains when not super-
vised and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
• This appliance shall not be used by children.
• The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children.
• This appliance may be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised
and have been instructed in how to use the appliance safely and have under-
stood the potential risks.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• If the rotating filter is damaged, the appliance may not be used!
• Before changing any accessories or additional parts that move during operation,
the appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the mains power.
• The cutter is extremely sharp! Handle it with great care.
• Do not operate the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.
• To prevent injuries, ensure that all parts are inserted correctly.
