Intelligent Tracking
The endpoint connects to one or two Huawei VPT300 intelligent cameras to provide the
Voice Activity Detection (VAD) and facial recognition functions. Additionally, the speaker
tracking function of the VPT300 can be configured through the endpoint.
The VPT300 has the following features:
In automatic tracking mode, the VPT300 automatically detects and identifies the conference
status, takes panoramic and close-up video images, and track speakers. The VPT300 also
supports PiP to present the optimal view.
The VPT300 takes close-up video images of the speaker when only one participant speaks or
multiple participants speak one by one.
The VPT300 automatically detects two participants who are having a conversation and
displays their video images separately in two panes.
When no one is speaking, the VPT300 automatically adjusts the focal length based on the
number of participants detected to display the panoramic view of all participants in the
conference room.
The VPT300 displays panoramic and close-up video images in PiP mode. When a participant
is speaking, the VPT300 displays the panoramic view in full-screen mode and the close-up
video of the speaker in a small window at any of the four corners. When the participant stops
speaking, the small window disappears.
In AutoFrame mode, the VPT300 automatically adjusts its dual cameras based on the number
and positions of participants in the conference room to take the optimal panoramic view.
You can also pan or tilt the camera using the remote control.
Two VPT300s can connect to one endpoint and function like only one VPT300 to capture
better speaker views.
The two VPT300s are separately installed on both sides of the display, as shown in
