First ring

Your AC1001C will automatically detect the Caller identification (Subscription
dependent). If you do not wish to hear the ring before the caller identification is displayed
you can manually set

Change the System PIN
The System PIN is required when changing certain settings and for registration / de-
registration. The default setting is 0000. You can change this to your own preferred number
(up to 8 digits).
When you enter a PIN, the digits are shown as ****.
1. Press Menu, scroll

System PIN
4. Enter the old PIN (Default setting = 0000) and press OK.
5. Enter the new PIN and press OK.
6. Re-enter the new PIN and press OK.

to return to standby.
NOTE
It is advisable to make a note of your new PIN code and keep it somewhere safe.

Restore default settings
You can restore the AC1001C to its default (original) settings. Resetting the AC1001C will
not affect the phonebook or Calls list, and all cordless units registered to the base will be
retained. Only the cordless unit and base settings will be reset.
