Whole Home Audio with FireConnect

FireConnect™ mirrors network audio and external analogue
sources connected to the master component—from streaming
services to vinyl records—on FireConnect™-compatible
speakers in other rooms. Music selection, speaker grouping,
and playback management across the home are built into
Pioneer Remote App for iOS and Android.
* FireConnect™ is enabled with a firmware update. Sharing of audio from
external inputs depends on the model and is enabled with a future firmware
update. VSX-1131 and VSX-831 do not support wireless transmission of
signals from external inputs. Sampling rates of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz are
supported. FireConnect is a technology based on Blackfire provided by
Blackfire Research Corp., USA.
Multi-Zone (Powered ZONE 2)

With Pioneer's Multi-Zone, you can play music from different
sources in two zones at the same time.
New GUI with System Setup/Network Menu

The newly developed GUI offers smooth operation with
advanced features and design. You can easily set up the AV
receiver straight out of the box by following the step-by-step
guidance. The network setup and MCACC menus are also
available on the GUI.
