Smart Screen

Smart screen features use the front camera to detect when
you are facing the screen. Some factors that may affect the
ability of the front camera to detect your face are:
When the phone is not docked or held upright, for example when
placed on a table.
When the front camera cannot detect your face and eyes.
When the front camera is being used for the current application.
When the source of light is behind you, or when using the phone
in the dark.
1. From a Home screen, touch

2. Touch Smart screen for options:
• Smart stay: When enabled, keeps the screen on as long as
you are looking at it.
• Smart rotation: When enabled, rotates the screen according
to the orientation of your face.
• Smart pause: When enabled, pauses video playback when the
device detects that you are facing away from the screen.
• Smart scroll: When set to ON, scrolls up or down by tilting your
head or device while looking at the screen. Touch Smart scroll
for further options.

Air View

Preview information when you hover your finger over the
screen. For example, you can hover your finger over a
scheduled item in your calendar to see more details.
1. From a Home screen, touch

2. Touch the ON/OFF button to turn Air view ON
and then touch Air view for options:
• Information preview: When set to ON, displays information
previews, extended text, and enlarged images when you hover
your finger over the screen.
• Progress preview: When set to ON, lets you preview a scene
or displays elapsed time when you hover your finger over the
progress bar while watching a video.
• Speed dial preview: When set to ON, displays the contacts
and their speed dial numbers when you hover your finger over
them in your contacts list.
• Webpage magnifier: When set to ON, displays magnified links
on web pages when you hover your finger over them.
• Sound and haptic feedback: When set to ON, plays a sound
and your device vibrates when you hover your finger over Air
view items.
