IPedge Virtual Server Specifications
IPedge Virtual Server is pre-installed on Dell servers. These Dell servers have VMware ESXi 5.5
pre-installed. This provides a high level of scalability and server utilization. IPedge applications
run on CentOS Linux 5.4, while ACD and TASKE applications run on Windows
operating system. The upgrade procedure for the IPedge Virtual Server is the same as the current
native IPedge server. The IPedge Virtual Servers are available in three different sizes:
• Virtual EP Server – Non-RAID option only
• Virtual EC Server – RAID1 option recommended (Non-RAID option also available but not
upgradeable)
• Virtual EM Server – has RAID1 and RAID5 options
