    Preparing Your HeartStart FR2+ for Overview There are a few basic steps to preparing your HeartStart FR2+ Defibrillator for use: Install data card (optional). Install a battery. Maintenance Maintenance of the FR2+ is very simple, but it is a very important factor in its dependability.
