Symptoms
Ghost images on screen. This may occur
if stationary images, such as still video
images, web pages, or filler bars (used for
NORMAL aspect mode), are left on-screen
for a prolonged time.
An OSD advising "AIR FILTER
CLEANING..." is displayed.
When viewing with HDMI connection, picture
is displayed with unnatural colors (as if red
and blue are reversed).
Pictures from equipment connected via
HDMI are abnormal.
No sound is produced.
Show list disappears after blackout in TV
Guide.
Channel display is not correct in TV Guide.
Unable to execute a scheduled recording in
TV Guide.
Unable to receive the scheduled broadcast
in TV Guide.
No show list appears in TV Guide.
• This is a characteristic of the DMD and not a malfunction. Try
displaying constantly moving pictures which fill the entire screen, or
turn the power OFF for a while to return the screen to normal.
• Please consult your nearest dealer.
• Change "Color corr." from "Off" to "On".
• Is the HDMI cable connected properly?
• Turn the TV unit and the device Off, then On again.
• Check the input signal from the equipment.
• Is "Sound Mute" active?
• Is the volume set to minimum?
• Is "Speakers" set to "Off"?
• Change "SAP" settings.
• Check "HDMI1 in" or "HDMI2 in" settings when equipment is
connected via HDMI.
• If there is a problem with digital sound connection, select analog sound
connection.
• The list will be downloaded within 24 hours.
• Set to the correct channel in "Change Channel Display".
• Is VCR turned "Off"?
• Is a videocassette inserted?
• Check "Schedule" to see if show is set in the list.
• Check the position of IR Blaster.
• Check "Schedule" to see if show is set in the list.
• Check the installation of IR Blaster.
• Has it been 24 hours since completing the initial setup of TV Guide?
(Some time is required for list downloading.)
• After initial settings, it takes about a week to display the entire list for
8 days.
• Check the connection of the TV, cables, and antenna.
