Before transporting the washing machine (e.g. when
moving house).
1. Turn off the water tap.
2. Release the water pressure in the supply hose
(refer to Page 31).
3. Drain any residual washing lye (refer to Page 29).
4. Disconnect the washing machine from the mains.
5. Detach the hoses.
6. Remove the 2 lower covers.
7. Loosen the screw in the sleeve until the end of the
screw is level with the end of the sleeve.
8. Through the open washing machine door have a
second person pull the top of the drum forwards
and hold in this position.
Insert the transportation protection devices 1 and
2 and tighten the bolts. The washer lugs must be
located in the groove in the rear panel of the hous
ing.
i Having transported the appliance and ensured
proper installation, connection and having re
moved the transport bolts, allow the Empty pro
gramme to run through before starting the first
wash programme.
