and operating ir_stru_ions for Battery Charger LC-E5 & LC_ESE
2 Before using the charger, read all instructions and cautionary remarks on
(1) the charger, (2) the battery pack, and (3) the product using the battery
pack¸
3 CAUTION w To reduce risk of i_ury_ charge only the Battery Pack LPuE5
Other types of ba_edes may burst, causing personal injury and other
damage¸
4. Do r_ot expose the charger to rain or snow¸
5 Use of ar_at_chmer_t not recommended or sold by Canon may result in
fire_ e_ecttic shock, or personal i_ury
6 To reduce dsk of damage to electdc plug and cord, pull by p_ug rather than
by cord when discormecting charger¸
7 Make sure cord is located so that it will r_ot be stepped on, tripped over, or
otherwise su_ected to damage or stress¸
8 Do r_ot operate the charger with damaged cord or plug _ rep}ace them
immediately
9 Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped,
or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified serviceman¸
10 Do r_ot disassemble the charger; take it to a qualified serviceman when
service or repair is required¸ }ncorrect reassembly may result in a risk of
electric shock or fire¸
11 To reduce risk of e_ectric shock, ur_pEugcharger from outlet before
attempting any maintenar_ce or cleaning
