Basics Function overview Your STM10 is a portable stereo microphone designed to be used with Sony devices with support for 5 pole audio and a 3.5 mm audio jack, such as Xperia™ Z2 or Xperia™ Z2 Tablet. Use it to record high-quality stereo sound for music, interviews or videos.
Using your microphone Recording sound To use the microphone, you need the STM10 Audio Recorder application which is available on Google Play™. The recorded files are saved as WAV or MP4 files depending on the sound quality option you have chosen. The files are saved in the Recordings folder in the internal storage of your device.
Rotate the microphone head so that are positioned according to the illustration. To record stereo sound Make sure that the STM10 Audio Recorder application is successfully installed on your device. Connect your microphone and position it correctly. Make sure that your microphone is activated.
• Tap Listen to play the recording. To play back a saved recording In the STM10 Audio Recorder application, tap the RECORDINGS tab, then tap the recording that you want to play. to play the recording. To share a recording In the STM10 Audio Recorder application, tap the RECORDINGS tab, then tap the recording that you want to share.
