Problem
The flame suddenly
looks different.
The gas flame goes out
during use.
The in-operation / resid-
ual heat indicator is
flashing.
The ignitor on the
burner does not spark.

Cause and remedy
The burner parts are not positioned correctly.
 Position the burner parts correctly.
The burner head or the holes in the burner cap are
dirty.
 Remove any soiling.

There has been a power outage.
 Turn the control knob in a clockwise direction to
"". Once power has been restored the hob can be
used again as normal.
