The machine comes from the factory with oil in the engine
crankcase, however, it may be necessary to add oil. Add only
112 kg (245 lbs)
enough oil to raise the level to the Full mark on the dipstick;
refer to Servicing the Engine Oil (page 15).
Oil Type: 4-cycle engine oil that meets or exceeds the
requirements for API service category SJ, SL, SM, or higher

Important: If the oil level in the crankcase is too low
or too high and you run the engine, you may damage
the engine.
Note: Use SAE 10W-30 for general use. You can use
the other viscosities shown in the chart when the average
temperature in your area is within the indicated range (Figure
8).
