Edge Screen Text
Display custom text on the Edge screen when the
Home screen is not displayed.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE > Edge screen >
Edge screen text.
2. Check that Screen rotation is enabled.
Edge Screen Timeout
Set the length of time the Edge screen displays
when the screen is locked.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE > Edge screen timeout.
2. Select a time amount.
Notifications
Display notifications on the Edge screen.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE > Edge screen.
2. Tap Notifications to enable the feature.

Edge Screen Position
Set the device to rotate the main screen 180° so
that you can use the Edge screen on the left side of
the display.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings > DEVICE > Edge screen >
Use Edge screen on left.
2. Check that Screen rotation is enabled.

Wipe down on the Status bar to display
the Notification panel, and then tap
Screen rotation to enable the feature.
3. Tap ON/OFF to enable the feature.
Note: A small panel displays at the bottom of the
rotated screen with the Recent, Home, and Back keys
as buttons.
