WDE1000/1100 User's Guide - Appendix B - Over the Air Programming
General
Over the Air Programming (OTAP) is a feature that enables upgrading the MCU application through
the air.
The OTAP also enables sending of profiles and setting the active profile for the user.
The following paragraphs give the instructions required to operate the OTAP.
Upgrading the MCU SW Version (Silent
Installation)
General
The full upgrade process requires:
1. To send the installation package to the target computer using MS SMS tool.
2. To run the silent installation.
Detailed Procedure
1. Place the unzipped upgrade installation package (Disk 1 folder) on the computer.
Appendix B - Over the Air Programming
This feature is intended to be used
by administrators that are familiar
with the MS SMS tool.
NOTE
WDE1000 must be inserted into your
computer or WDE1100 installed in
your computer to enable OTAP
NOTE
operation.
Silent update will not perform any
card driver update.
