Set Date for Resetting Data Usage: To set the data usage measuring cycle, from the Data
usage window, tap the box next to Data usage cycle, tap Change cycle, set a reset date, and
tap Set.
This setting is available when Mobile data is enabled.
Check Data Usage for Each Application: To see how your data is being used, slide the vertical
white bars in the graph to set a usage period, and then tap an app name to see its usage for the
period.
Enable Restriction on Mobile Data in Background: From the Data usage window, tap More
options
> Restrict background data > OK.
This setting stops some apps and services from working unless your phone is connected to a
Wi-Fi network.
If a confirmation appears, tap OK.
This setting is available when Limit mobile data usage is on.
Automatically Sync Your Accounts: From the Data usage window, tap More options
sync data.
When enabled, accounts are synced automatically, according to their synchronization
settings.
When disabled, you may need to manual sync your accounts. You will not receive any
notifications about updates.
Disabling Auto sync data conserves battery power.
View Both Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Usage: From the Data usage window, tap More
options
> Show Wi-Fi usage.
Tap Show Wi-Fi usage to toggle on and off. Enter the check mark
check mark to disable.
When Show Wi-Fi usage is enabled, you will see a Wi-Fi tab at the top of the Data usage
window. Tap to view your phone's Wi-Fi data usage.
Select Wi-Fi networks which are mobile hotspots: From the Data usage window, tap
More options

> Mobile hotspots.
