Create a New S Memo

Follow the steps below to create a new memo or expand or reply to an existing memo using the S
Memo app.
1. Press
and tap
2. Tap
to start a new memo in text mode.

Tap to start a new memo in drawing mode.
3. Tap
to access options:
Note: Depending on whether you have saved the memo, are in keyboard mode, or in drawing
mode, the options will appear differently. The following is a list of the options you may see.
Rename: C hange the current memo title.
l
Share via: S end a memo via Group Play, Dropbox, Flipboard, Picasa, Paper Artist,
l
Google+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, Messaging, Gmail, or Email.
Handwriting-to-text: T ranscribe handwriting into text.
l
Export: S ave the memo to memory, as a graphic or PDF.
l
Save as: S ave the memo with a different name.
l
Add picture: A dd an image to the current memo. Choose Picture, Take picture, Clip Art,
l
Clipboard, or Map.
Add tag: S et tags to add in searches.
l
Add to Favorites: T ag the current memo as a favorite.
l
Change background: S et the background for your memo. Swipe the screen to the left or
l
right to select a background and then tap Done.
Link to Calendar: L ink the memo to your Calendar.
l
Lock: L ock the memo by using a PIN number.
l
Set as: S et a memo as a contact icon, Home screen wallpaper, Lock screen wallpaper, or a
l
widget.
Print: P rint memo(s) via Wi-Fi to a compatible Samsung printer (not included).
