I updated the software and now my selected address does not automatically appear in the print window. How do I change that feature back. I currently have to copy/paste every address into the window for printing.

    Labels can now be printed quickly from the desktop. What’s In This User Guide This User Guide contains the same information as the Help included with DYMO Label v.8.     Choosing a Label The Label Files list in version 7 has been replaced with the Labels tab in DYMO Label v.8. On this tab, you can choose the label type you want to use visually by shape and size. You can also choose from several different layouts for each label.

    Using the Address Book DYMO Label software includes a built-in Address Book where you can save addresses, or other pieces of information that you commonly use. You can create as many Address Books as you like. The default Address Book installed with the software is named Sample Address Book. You can edit this Address Book or you can delete this Address Book and create your own.

    Code 128-A can represent numbers and uppercase letters, as well as control characters. Code 128-Auto Code 128-Auto uses a combination of Code 128-A, B, and C. DYMO Label software analyzes the data and then uses whichever combination of codes yields the most compact barcode, switching from one code to another in the middle of the barcode, if necessary.
  • Page 102 EAN-13 European Article Numbering (EAN) is used for products that are made or marketed outside the U.S. EAN 13 requires 13 digits: the first 2 digits represent the country code, followed by 10 digits of data, and finally a checksum character. After you enter the 12 digits to be encoded, the program automatically calculates the checksum for the 13th digit.
