MultiBoot (Advanced Users Only)

Enabling Media and Devices for MultiBoot

By default, the notebook can start only from a bootable hard drive
or bootable drive medium in the notebook.
The notebook can start up from the following devices only if they
have been enabled for inclusion in MultiBoot:
NIC.
Hard drive inserted into an optional port replicator or
connected by USB.
Diskette in diskette drive inserted into an optional port
replicator or connected by USB.
Disk in SuperDisk drive inserted into an optional port
replicator or connected by USB.
CD-ROM, CD-RW, or DVD in optical drive inserted into an
optional port replicator or connected by USB.
To enable a device for inclusion in MultiBoot:
1. To open Computer Setup, turn on or restart the notebook,
then press
displayed in the lower left of the screen.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the Advanced menu > Device
Options.
