Installation
This antenna is designed for an HDTV equipped with an internal QAM tuner or an analog lV
with a digital converter box.
Uncoil the 3 meter coaxial cable to determine the likely mounting position of the antenna.
Connect to HDTV

Locate the threaded RF coaxial female
connector on the television. This is typically
labeled "DlV /TV" or "Cable/ Antenna".
Attach the antenna coaxial cable by finger
tightening the male F connector.

Install AGDC Adapter
- Connect the DC plug of the AC/DC adapter into the in-line amplifier of the antenna. Plug the AC/DC adapter into a 11 0V AC
©
receptacle. Verify the red LED on the in-line amplifier is illuminated.
Position Antenna
- Position the antenna in the desired location. Before using the provided mounting pads, it is advisable to temporarily tape the

antenna in place until after the next step.
Scan for Channels
Using the television menu, select the appropriate input and initiate an automatic channel scan. Once complete, the received
channels can be selected via the up and down channel buttons on the lV's remote control. If you have not received the
®
expected channels, reposition the antenna and repeat the channel scan.
Mount Antenna
- Using the provided adhesive pads, mount the antenna in the final position that has resulted in the reception of the most
channels.
Helpful Tips:
Maximize the number of channels you receive by testing the antenna in several locations before mounting.
Be sure to repeat the channel scan on your lV each time to find optimal reception

Digital to Analog Converter

Locate the threaded RF coaxial female connector on the
converter box labeled "Cable In" or "Ant In".
Attach the antenna coaxial cable by finger tightening the
male F connector. The other RF connector on the converter
box is the output to the lV. Connect a coax cable (not
provided) between the converter box and the lV.
